2012 Suzuki Violin Mid-Winter Workshop Repertoire

Books 1-4: Sunday (optional mini lesson on Saturday)

Curriculum 

Students will be scheduled with a small group, a large group class and an enrichment class. We offer a variety of enrichments: Advanced students (Book 5 and up) will work with Gabe Bolkosky on the Largo ma non tanto from the Concerto for Two Violins by Bach. Book 5 and 6 students will work or their sense of pulse and rhythm with Sarah Montzka in a Dalcroze Eurhythmics class. Learn more here: http://www.dalcrozeusa.org/about-us/history

Book 7+ will also work with Gabe on Tambourin Chinois by Fritz Kreisler, book 1-4 students will work with Rachel Schott, a trained Music Mind Games instructor. See the following link for more information http://www.musicmindgames.com/ Advanced students will also be scheduled for a master class.
