Chamber Music
Welcome to the MIC’s Chamber Music Program,
Joining a chamber music ensemble is one of the most rewarding experiences a musician can have. Chamber music players enjoy collaboration with colleagues while playing an independent part and exploring new repertoire. The experience of playing together in small groups is something students will cherish for years to come.
The Music Institute of Chicago offers a comprehensive chamber music program which both challenges and nurtures students of all ages. Chamber music ensembles receive weekly coachings and perform regularly in both informal settings and in concerts at Nichols Concert Hall at our Evanston East campus. In addition, the Music Institute offers summer chamber music camps for piano and strings and wind groups.

Chamber Music Early Application Deadline: May 15
Submit your registration and video recording by May 15 to receive a $20 discount (applied toward fall chamber music tuition).
Chamber Music Priority Deadline: July 15
