Enjoy coachings with Music Institute of Chicago faculty, participate in exciting master classes and rehearse with your friends to learn and polish your chamber music repertoire for a culminating concert at the end of the week.  Open to pre-existing ensembles and individual string and piano students, Chamber Music Camp is a great way to make new friends and improve your music and ensemble skills in a relaxed and beautiful environment!

 


 

Audition Requirements:  New students applying as individuals should submit a DVD including two contrasting pieces.  (Returning students do not need to submit a DVD).  Students who do not have a pre-existing chamber group must audition for placement in a piano trio or string quartet.  Ensembles not currently enrolled at the Music Institute must submit a DVD including one movement from a chamber work. 

 

String Requirements:  Suzuki Book 4 level or equivalent & above 

Pianists:  The level of easy Beethoven or Mozart sonatas & above
