Evanston West
Opened in 2006, this campus houses MIC’s Musical Theater program, the Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA), Escola de Samba, and other private lessons and ensembles. It also houses the Dempster Street Theater, MIC’s black box theater. With 140 seats, a sprung stage, and lighting and sound systems, the Dempster Street Theater is used for musical theater performances, studio recitals, ITA client showcases, and other classes, therapy groups, and rehearsals.
Our campus is easy to get to in Evanston’s West Village business district near the corner of Dempster and Dodge Streets. We have a well-lit,amply sized parking lot and are also accessible by Pace Bus for those taking public transportation. We have classes, lessons, and therapy Monday-Saturday so come by and check out the exciting things happening at the Evanston West Campus!
