The 2012 Four Score Festival presents the music of Charles Ives, Aaron Copland and how their inspiration threaded its way through the work of two of their students, Gunther Schuller and Mario Davidovsky.  

 

Jim Setapen, Music Institute of Chicago Academy Director discusses Charles Ives, a seminal figure in modern American music who challenged us to consider what classical music is, what it can do for us and why we love it.
