About Jazz Studies at the MIC

Jazz Studies at the Music Institute of Chicago offers students of all ages and levels of experience the opportunity to explore jazz through private instruction and small ensembles as well as classes in improvisation and musicianship.  A faculty consisting of some of Chicago's most respected jazz musicians will give students individual attention as they learn to play by ear and improvise creatively.  These classes are for anyone who wants to increase their knowledge, appreciation, and passion for jazz.
