The Music Institute of Chicago presents its sixth annual summer chamber music program for woodwind and brass players. Wind quintets, trios, and quartets will participate in daily rehearsals, coachings, and master classes with Quintet Attacca, an MIC Ensemble-in-Residence. Quintet Attacca, winner of the 2002 Grand Prize of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, offers master classes on topics including individual instrument techniques, careers in music and performance preparation. Chamber music encourages team building, friendship and musical skills. Develop your craft while playing alongside members of Quintet Attacca!
Positions available for: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and tuba. All who register are accepted; however, there must be a minimum of three participants in each group. Priority will be given to those who register early.
