- Reaching out to families with limited financial resources has been a critical tenet of our mission for decades. The powerful impact of music education and therapy has introduced untold enjoyment and fulfillment to hundreds of students and families, in spite of their economic and financial uncertainties. If you're among those who are looking to grow in ways you never imagined possible, please call us. Outreach partnerships in underserved communities are also funded through this program.
- Artists of Tomorrow Gifted Scholars
- Such major music schools and conservatories as The Julliard School and The Eastman School of Music regard the Music Institute as a consistent source of exceptional young talent. The Gifted Scholars Fund provides financial support and inspiration to students who demonstrate the potential and determination to pursue a professional career in music.
- William Warfield Memorial Scholarships
- An icon of American music performance for 50 remarkable years, William Warfield was a great friend and valued Board member of the Music Institute until his passing in 2002. Scholarships were established in his memory to enable minority students to study with the distinguished faculty as a tribute to Mr. Warfield's heartfelt desire to share his knowledge, skills, and love of music.
- Institute for Therapy through the Arts Family Fund
- In the process of working with individuals, ITA therapists may identify needs of others in the family. The Family Fund provides assistance to meet the financial challenges posed by these situations, ensuring that the family can benefit from professional resources without compromise.
