2016 Competition Rounds

Preliminary round
(Video due with application on or before March 11, 2016)

One 15-20’ unedited video recording containing repertoire from the program. At least two pieces and stylistic periods should be included, and must include a one piano, four hand and a two piano work. Excerpts or single movements are permitted. This video must be submitted with the application. Contestants should send links to video, or submit a DVD in proper readable US format. (Suggested only for US contestants.) The video need not be in HD, but the AUDIO QUALITY is of the utmost importance, and the video should be professionally produced at an appropriate venue.

Quarterfinals (June 8-9, 2016)

Semifinals (June 10, 2016)

30’ maximum from the full program at the contestants choice. Single movements are permissible.

Final round (June 11, 2016)

At least 45’ of the  full program will be performed. Final repertoire shall be decided upon consultation between jury and contestants.

The order of repertoire performed at all levels shall be determined by the contestants. The jury reserves the right, in the interest of time, to stop a performance before the end in any round.
