2016 Rules & Application

Rules

  • 1st Prize winner of Liszt 200 Chicago is not eligible.
  • Memory: Duos may play from memory, or with score, without penalty.
  • Duos admitted into the semifinal round must arrange travel from their home to Chicago and return at their own expense. Suggestions for lodging can be provided upon request, but will be at contestant’s expense. Limited practice time will be available daily during the competition.
  • Duos accepted to the competition will agree to accept possible media interviews and short promotional concert appearances without extra compensation.
  • Contestants agree to abide by competition rules and policies.

Application

 

Each member of the duo must be no less than 18 years old and no more than 38 years old at the deadline of application. Proof of age with photocopy of passport or picture ID stating date of birth is required. Duos may submit an online application or send a printed copy of the application to:

Registration fee: $200

The registration should be paid online by credit card (information to be supplied on application.) Alternative means of payment may be arranged on a case by case basis. Full application fee must be received and cleared by application deadline in order for the application to be processed.  Questions should be directed to competition directors.

 

All visas must be procured by the contestants.
