Every student is a star this summer at MIC's two-week Broadway Bound Musical Theater Camp. Young musical theater actors will work with industry professionals to develop performance skills in acting, voice, and dance. Each student will enjoy personalized performance pieces that highlight their talents and help advance their growth as a young performer. Through the use of creative theater games, vocal instruction, dance classes, and workshops, students learn practical performance skills they can apply to their performances. Campers will build confidence, character, self-esteem, and professional/leadership skills that will transfer to all aspects of their lives. Camp culminates with two final cabaret style performances where students perform favorite Broadway songs from different styles and eras with an opening and closing group number at the Puth Family Theater in downtown Evanston.
