Chamber Music for Adults

The Music Institute of Chicago has a robust chamber music program for adults at all levels. Join a chamber music ensemble and collaborate with fellow musicians, explore new repertoire, and make new friends. The MIC chamber music program is offered at all MIC locations and is open to string, piano, woodwind, brass, harp, guitar, percussion, and voice students.

When can I join?

Registration for 2019-2020 is now open. Registration takes place annually.

All participants must submit an online application.

If you are new to the chamber program, you are required to submit a video recording of two contrasting pieces of your choice (directions attached below).
