Community Symphony

Larry Eckerling, Community Symphony Director

The Community Symphony is an orchestra for adult musicians who have the skills to contribute to a symphony orchestra at an intermediate level and who want music making to be a part of their lives. It is an educational orchestra, where rehearsing symphonic literature is aimed primarily for the value of learning and enjoyment in the rehearsal setting. Rehearsals are held on Friday mornings from 10 am to noon at MIC's Winnetka Campus. Final dress rehearsal and concerts take place on a weeknight in historic Nichols Concert Hall, Evanston.

$30 registration fee applies to new students.
