Daily Schedule 2019

Subject to adjustments depending on registration.  (Attendance to all festival concerts and events is obligatory for all enrolled students).

 

Coaching Classes:  ***PLEASE NOTE:  due to limited availability of rehearsal rooms, students will have little opportunity to rehearse during class time.  Some rehearsal space is available in Winnetka and Evanston during mornings, on weekdays and Sunday.  Sign ups will be available.  Daily coaching schedules are posted as follows.  Length and scheduling classes may vary with number of students enrolled.  As part of the learning experience, students are encouraged to listen to each other's coachings or rehearsal during free time.  Attendance is required only during your age group.

 

Please note: college students will have daily lessons and need to be in town for the entire festival.

 

Unless otherwise noted, coaching sessions take place at: 

Evanston East Campus  | 1490 Chicago Avenue, Evanston (enter Grove Street)

Concerts take place at:  Nichols Concert Hall | 1490 Chicago Avenue, Evanston.  All concerts are FREE to CDPF students plus two guests

 

This year, our students will be featured at three events: a master class on and recital on July 20 and a recital on July 21.


Sunday, July 14

 1:30 pm:  Students check in and atten a repetoire class with Ralph Neiweem

 3:00 pm:  Gala Opening Concert and Reception

 5:00 pm:  Reception with meet and greet


Monday, July 15 - Thursday, July 18

3:00 pm:  Youth

4:30 pm:  High school & college

 6:30 pm: Adult


Friday, July 19

  7:30 pm:  Faculty Duo Piano Extravaganza Concert

 

Saturday, July 20

10:00 am:  Master class in Nichols Concert Hall

12:00 pm:  Festival luncheon

  1:30 pm:  Youth and high school recital

  4:00 pm:  Adult recital


Sunday, July 21

12:30 pm: Students arrive for warmups

 2:00 pm:  Final student recital; presentation of diplomas, photos & farewells
