Irina Polskaya received her M.A. in Piano Pedagogy, Ensemble and Accompaniment at Donetsk State Conservatory, Ukraine.  She received her B.A. in Music, Donetsk State Music College.

Teaching philosophy and areas of expertise: 

My main objective is to make my students love and appreciate music for years to come.

Awards and achievements: 

Irina has over 35 years of professional experience both in Europe and America. Her experience at Donetsk Music College includes years of piano teaching to advanced students and extensive performing as a soloist and an accompanist. 

She is also a former faculty member of the Suzuki Violin and Piano Academy, Chicago IL, as well as an accompanist in the Chicagoland area.

Irina has been with Music Institute of Chicago since 2001 teaching piano to children and adults.
