MIC Voice & Young Artist Concerto Competition Results

2015 MIC Young Artist Concerto Competition

The competition, open to MIC students only, offers young musicians the opportunity to be a featured soloist with the Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra, under the leadership of Maestro Alan Heatherington. The final round of competition took place Wednesday, February 11 at Nichols Concert Hall.

The winner will perform with the Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra on the RISING STAR concert under the baton of Maestro Alan Heatherington, April 12, 2015 at 3 pm, North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, Skokie, IL.


2015 MIC Voice Competition

Congratulations to the winners of MIC's first annual Voice Competition, held in collaboration with Maestro Alan Heatherington and the Chicago Master Singers.  This competition, exclusively for MIC students, will feature winners on Chicago Master Singers Benefit on March 21, 2015. We are excited to partner with this premier Chicago cultural organization and to offer our students this incredible opportunity. 

High school and adult division competitions took place on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Nichols Concert Hall.
