MIC Voice Students Take the Stage



Congratulations to students of Dorothy Jean Lloyd, MIC Lake Forest voice faculty.


Eleanore Fellerhoff, 18, was recently part of the ensemble of Pippin for Illinois All-State musical theatre production.  In addition, she played Lady Larkin in Deerfield High School's production of Once Upon A Mattress.  She will attend the Steinhart School of Music vocal program where she was awarded a merit scholarship.


This April, Antoinette Pompe,13, played the female lead character Marion in Deerpath Middle School production of the Music Man.

Dana Pepowski, 17, performed on the winner's concert Sunday, April 19 at Ravinia as the overall winner in the vocal category of the Walgreen's Competition. In addition, Dana played Mrs. Lovett in Lake Forest High School's production of Sweeney Todd along with alumnus Caleb Fietsam as Sweeney Todd.  Dana was also named third prize winner in the Chicago NATS classical competition.

Angela Peterson, 17, an alumna of MIC's Lyric Intensive summer program played Fiona in the Mundelein High School production of Shrek and placed first in the Chicago NATS classical competition.

The Lake Forest Country Day choral concert will feature Chloe Whelan, 12, - "What I Did For Love" (A Chorus Line), Sophie Varones, 12, - "Still Hurting" (Last Five Years) and Angelique Alexos, 13, - "Lo perduta" (le nozze di Figaro).
