James Sanders- Bringing Jazz Violin To The Big Stage

 Jazz violinist James Sanders will be performing in the Chicago Jazz Festival on Friday, September 2, 2016. Sanders has been combining different styles of violin for years now, experimenting with everything from Latin jazz to Classical. As a faculty member at the Music Institute of Chicago, James plans to introduce a jazz violin program to the Institute. James is also involved in three ensembles, Conjunto, Proyecto Libre, and Blue Violin Quartet. He has had a plethora of experience in the music world, and wants to continue sharing music with the world while also introducing new techniques to aspiring artists.
