New York International Artist Association Competition

September 23, 2018

Congratulations to Esme Arias-Kim, 13, Academy violin student of Almita Vamos  won first place in the New York International Artist Association (division 11-14yrs).

She was one of six performers featured in a recital on Sunday, September 23 at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall where she performed the first movement of the Bruch Concerto as well as Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen.

The New York International Artists Association is a not-for-profit organization established in 2010. NYIAA's mission is to provide fertile ground for aspiring professional musicians as well as nonprofessionals to form and realize their goals. By providing opportunities for musicians to perform and share their talents through healthy competition, we hope to encourage music making of the highest order where dedication, honesty of expression, musicality, talent, and ingenuity are rewarded.
