Keyboard Departmental Recitals
Free and Open to the Public
2 pm | 3 pm | 4 pm
With more than 45 piano faculty members, MIC has one of the largest community school piano departments in the nation. Both nurturing and challenging, our instructors teach beginning through advanced repertoire for students of all levels and abilities. Young students may take short introductory classes prior to beginning private lessons and Suzuki instruction is also offered. Pianists are also encouraged to participate in MIC’s chamber music program. Other opportunities include the Chicago Duo Piano Festival, a vibrant duo piano program with winter and summer offerings and an adult piano camp.
In this recital the Music Institute's Community School's keyboard students perform.
