Education: 

Elaine attended Oberlin Conservatory where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, as well as Master's in Music candidate from the University of Colorado.

Significant teachers and mentors: 

Two of her most significant teachers/mentors during her years as a musician in training were her instructors with whom she did a private study at the University of Colorado: Adele Marcus and Vitya Vronsky.

Awards and achievements: 

With regards to Ms. Felder's awards and achievements, she was a Regional prize winner of the National Federation of Music Clubs, and a scholarship recipient to Dartmouth Summer Music Festival. In addition, she is an annual participant in Pressler solo and chamber classes at Indiana University.

Professional affiliations & activities: 

Elaine was a former faculty member at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and is also a frequent solo and chamber performer in the Chicagoland area.
