Part-time Receptionist: Evanston

Our part-time staff helps us meet our critical need to be available to parents, students, employees and visitors interested in our fabulous classes, programs and activities. The ideal candidate is friendly and courteous with a pleasant personality, excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. Familiarity with music is desirable, but not required. Demonstrated excellence in providing customer service skills is required.

We have several shifts available - evenings and weekends. While we would like to offer as many hours as possible, shift availability depends on needs and could vary weekly. •    Answer incoming calls and greet visitors; respond to inquiries or direct to other departments as appropriate.
•    Describe MIC programs and assist families with registration, locating classes and reserving practice rooms.
•    Utilize MS Word or Excel and Blackbaud Financial Edge to complete projects as directed by Campus Director.
•    Handle routine billing questions and address changes using Blackbaud Financial Edge.
•    Process tuition and room rental payments.
•    Provide assistance to Nichols Concert Hall staff.

•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    Minimum of 1 year experience as a Receptionist, or providing customer service.
•    Ability to multi-task, with great attention to detail.
•    Friendly, courteous demeanor.
•    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
•    Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
•    Willingness to learn registration/financial database software.

Salary: $12.00 /hour
