ROOTS AND ROCK: SONGWRITING I (AGES 12-18)
SONGWRITING I: WORDS IN MUSIC
If you’ve always yearned to master the magic of melding words and music to create your own songs, this is the way in. If you’ve spent some time learning the basics of piano or guitar and would like to embark on your own journey of songwriting, this is your place. We’ll explore what makes songs powerful, meaningful, fun, and attractive, and then apply that knowledge to our own ideas and turn inspiration into music that can be shared.
If there is insufficient enrollment in the class, participants will be given the opportunity to receive four 30 minute private lessons in place of the group class.
