Music for Life gives children a creative and stimulating introduction to classical music, composers, and the culture of the music's origin. Each day will highlight a famous composer and incorporate interactive games, activities, and classical music listening. The list of composers we will celebrate may include Mozart, Vivaldi, Chopin, Beethoven, and Verdi. A virtuosic MIC faculty member or advanced student will play a selection of the featured composer's music and discuss their experience playing this wonderful work! Students will learn about the composer's life, dance to their music, create crafts related to the composer’s work and homeland, and play games from the composer's era. Each week will culminate in a short curated presentation where the students can show parents and friends what they've learned.
