MIC Wins at 2023 Walgreens National Concerto Competition

The Walgreens National Concerto Competition is designed to give young musicians a positive learning experience in a competitive and supportive environment. Professional judges provide constructive feedback about what the student is performing well and what areas need improvement. The competition is open to all instruments, which are judged in the following categories: String, Piano, Voice, Winds & Percussion and "Early Music."

This year's competition took place on December 29-30, 2023 at the Midwest Young Artists Center in Highwood, IL. Congratulations to the following Music Institute of Chicago Academy and Community Music School students.
