Are You Ready to Become a Suzuki Teacher?

  • Are you a professional musician who wants to teach music and share the love of music with young children?
  • Do you have a genuine interest in helping children develop and grow through the study of music?
  • Are you interested in working cooperatively with students, parents, and colleagues?

Train to Become a Suzuki Teacher Right Here at MIC.
The Suzuki Method provides a unique avenue for helping children and families and provides opportunities for growth as musicians, teachers, and families.

More Suzuki Teachers Are Needed
Since the Suzuki Method was introduced to North America, the Suzuki Method has become a major force in music education.  Interest in the method has grown significantly over the years as teachers, parents, and students experience its results. This has increased the need for qualified Suzuki teachers across the world.

What Is The Suzuki Method?

The Suzuki method is a philosophy that aims to teach children how to play music through the mother tongue approach. Dr. Suzuki's goal was to go beyond the development of professional musicians and to create character development through a nurturing approach to learning.  Some of the features of the Suzuki Method are Parent Involvement, Early Beginning, Listening, Repetition, Environment, Social Component, Repertoire, and Reading.
