Private lesson enrollment is available on a rolling basis and students of all ages and every level of experience are welcome to begin at any time. Private lessons in piano, guitar, strings, woodwinds and brass and more.

Group Classes

The nationally recognized Music Institute of Chicago Community Music School offers group classes, musicianship, chamber music and more to thousands of students of all ages and abilities each year. In addition to exceptional classical training, special program areas include Early Childhood Music Education (Musikgarten), Musical Theater, Jazz Studies, Roots & Rock, Adult Studies and an extensive Suzuki program including the Chicago Suzuki Institute each summer. We teach at multiple locations from Chicago to Lake Forest and online.

 

Classes and Ensembles

The Music Institute of Chicago emphasizes not only personal musical development, but also the joy of belonging to a musical community.  Group classes and ensembles include students a few months old to senior adults.
