Chamber Music for Adults
(for intermediate to advanced musicians)

(NO CLASSES July 1-7)
This class explores chamber music throughout music history looking at how ensembles developed and changed over time, compositions for different instruments, its role in society. This class will also serve as a way for adult musicians to connect with one another to find partners to play with during the year.

Students studying privately outside the Music Institute are welcome to participate in the MIC chamber music program.
Supercharge your musical development through the Music Institute of Chicago's comprehensive chamber music program. Both a nurturing and challenging program for students of all ages, chamber musicians explore the rich and varied chamber music repertoire through weekly coachings while making new friends and enjoying regular performance opportunities in informal settings, through community outreach, and at beautiful Nichols Concert Hall in downtown Evanston.
Proof of Covid Vaccination Requirement for Woodwind, Brass, and Voice Students
Proof of Covid vaccination is required for woodwind, brass, and voice students who are involved in private lessons, jazz combos, chamber music groups, and summer camps. Please submit proof of vaccination to your campus director via email in advance of your first lesson or class.
