Installment Plan

The Music Institute of Chicago offers an installment plan option for students enrolling for a full semester or more.  The installment plan is offered as a convenience by the Music Institute, but as such, carries strict guidelines for participation.

Current Students:  Current Music Institute of Chicago students should make their requests at the time registration; priority request semester deadlines:

Fall Semester Priority Deadline:  August 15, 2020

Spring Semester Priority Deadline:  January 15, 2021

  - Form for Spring Only participation will be available in early December 2020


New Students:  The Music Institute has rolling admission for new private instruction students and also for many classes.  If you are a new student registering mid-semester for private lessons, please express your interest in the installment plan to your Campus Director at the time of your registration.


Program Guidelines

 

There is a $25 annual installment plan activation fee per family/account participating in the plan.

 

Under the installment plan, your semester tuition is divided into four payments (for fall, this means your initial down payment at registration, plus three additional payments).  For the spring semester, tuition will be divided into four equal payments. If you wish to have fewer than four payments, you may always pay the remainder of your balance early.

 

You will be required to submit a credit or debit card number to be kept on file in order to participate in the program.  Failure to submit credit/debit card information will result in immediate withdrawal of your account from the plan.


Note: You do have the option of making your installment payments by cash or check, or an addditional credit/debit card, but MIC must receive a credit/debit card number to place on file in order to participate in this program. 


For each of your payment due dates, the credit/debit card on file will be charged for the amount due unless payment by other means was received by the 15th of that month.
