The International Music Competition - "Grand Prize Virtuoso" - October 2021

MIC student, Sylvia Pine, age 10, violin, was awarded First Prize in the International Music Competition -  “Grand Prize Virtuoso”.  Sylvia will make her European debut on December 7, 2021 at the Teatro Studio in Parco della Musica in Rome, Italy and will be performing Dvorak's Romantic Piece No. 1.   She studies with Davis King.

The International Music Competition "Grand Prize Virtuoso" is open to all nationalities and ages in strings, piano, wind, vocal and chamber music, each discipline is divided into different age categories: Young Musician (8 years old and younger), Junior (9 to 12 years old), Intermediate (13 to 15 years old), Advanced (16 to 18 years old) and Senior (no age limit). Chamber music is divided into three age categories: Group A (under 12 years old), Group B (13 - 18 years old) and Group C (19 years old and older).  The International Music Competition "Grand Prize Virtuoso" attracted applicants from all over the world (71 countries).
