Introduction to Suzuki Classes

Introduction to Suzuki classes prepare young children and their families for participation in the Music Institute of Chicago’s Suzuki program. Parents will learn the fundamentals of Suzuki philosophy and how to set a strong foundation for success in the crucial beginning stages of a child’s musical journey. Children will be introduced to an instrument and explore musical concepts like rhythm, tone and pitch while simultaneously developing the muscle strength, coordination, focus and balance required for continued future instrumental study. Families who complete the Introduction to Suzuki classes will be ready to begin private instruction following the end of the class.
