Sonia is a graduate of Tel-Aviv University where she studied Music Performance.
Given the fact that Ms. Hadar's career as a professional musician is one that spans over forty years, you can imagine the number of awards and achievements she has experienced throughout her time as a musician. Among these would be her receipt of first place of the Gina Bachauer competition, in addition to holding decade-long positions as co-principal first violinist, and assistant concertmaster of the Cape Town Symphony.
Sonia has also had her share of numerous celebrated solo and ensemble performances.
Her students have also participated and excelled in the English Royal Exams.

Two of her teachers/mentors over the years that had an impact on her life were instructors that she studied with while at University. They include: Shlomo Bohr, and Oedoen Partos.
