With a new conductor, Nick Collins, the MIC Concert Band and Chamber Winds invite you to their special spring concert.  This band comprises adult students with diverse musical backgrounds.

MIC Concert Band
The MIC Concert Band is an adult ensemble open to musicians of all experience levels, from returning players to beginners. Rehearsing twice weekly with additional sectional coaching, the band provides a supportive and engaging environment for participants to develop their skills, enjoy making music together, and perform in public concerts at the Nichols Concert Hall and throughout the community.

MIC Chamber Winds
MIC Chamber Winds is an ensemble providing an artistic outlet for advanced-level wind players through the Harmoniemusik tradition. Originating in the 18th century, Harmonie, a German term for wind ensemble, became highly favored for their virtuosity and versatility. Comprised of 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, and 2 horns, this selective ensemble provides a platform for musicians to expand their repertoire, refine their artistry, and experience the joy of performing historical chamber wind masterworks.
