worldclassmusic.live proudly presents:  Rakesh Chaurasia (bansuri) and Salar Nader (tabla)

Rakesh Chaurasia & Salar Nader are the current standard-bearers of Indian classical music and are unafraid to explore new territories with their instruments.

Nephew of flute maestro Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Rakesh is a 2 x Grammy-awarded artist and the major proponent of the bansuri, the Indian bamboo flute.

Salar Nader, senior disciple to Ustad Zakir Hussain and “one of the most prominent of the next generation of tabla players poised to take the next step for their instrument” (LA Times) is widely recognized for his virtuosity and charisma. From classical to contemporary to electronic music, Nader has collaborated with artists ranging from Third Coast Percussion to Cheb i Sabbah to Stanley Clarke, and has debuted “The Kite Runner” on Broadway, and much more.

Join us for an evening of Indian classical music will venture out to parts unknown.
