74th Annual West Suburban Symphony Solo Competition for string, woodwind, and brass

The West Suburban Symphony Society is pleased to announce violinist Tristan Zhu the winner of the74th Annual West Suburban Symphony Solo Competition for string, woodwind, and brass.

Tristan will perform the Beethoven Violin Concerto in D Major with the symphony on May 7th at Hinsdale Central High School. Each year since its founding, the symphony has provided an opportunity for high-school musicians to compete to perform a solo work with orchestra.
