Rockford Symphony Orchestra Annual Concerto Competition

Violinist Claire Arias-Kim, 15, student of Almita Vamos, won second place in the 2017 Rockford Symphony Orchestra Annual Concerto Competition. Cash prizes were awarded for the top three competitors and the first prize winner is offered an opportunity to perform with the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra at its spring performance.
