COVID-19 Policies

Please review the COVID-19 below policies for MIC open houses. All visitors must be in full compliance with the below policies as outlined.

If you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 the day of the event, including fever, shortness of breath or coughing, do not attend the event. MIC staff will gladly make arrangements to present information to you virtually, customized to your interests.

MIC staff will screen individuals for symptoms before entry and collect information for future contact tracing, if needed.

Face masks covering both the nose and mouth will be required at all times for staff and visitors ages 2 and up. Masks will be provided to those who do not have them.

All visitors ages 5 and up must show proof of vaccination before entering our buildings. Proof of vaccination is defined as two weeks after second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson. Please bring the original vaccination card, a screen shot, or a paper copy. Please note that all MIC faculty and staff in attendance at open houses are required to be fully vaccinated. Many have also received booster shots for further protection for everyone attending the open houses.

Students ages 5 and up may alternatively present documentation of a Negative Covid PCR or Antigen test taken within 48 hours prior to entry. If any family members in attendance have recently traveled internationally, they must show proof of a negative COVID test taken 3-5 days after returning to the United States regardless of vaccination status.

Children under the age of 5 are exempt from the above policies.
