Congratulations to Mina Chang, 15, violin, who was awarded Honorable Mention in the 2021 Elgin Youth Symphony Concerto Competition. She performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, 1st mvmt. and studies with MIC Violin Faculty,

Julie Bickel.

Each fall, members of the Youth Symphony and Philharmonia are invited to participate in EYSO’s Young Artists Concerto Competition: a competitive audition process by which exceptional students win the opportunity to perform a concerto of their choice onstage with their orchestra.
