BLUME Haiti
board members Janet Anthony (cellist; Lawrence University) and Meret Bitticks (flutist; Music Institute of Chicago) will be joined by Music Institute of Chicago faculty for a concert to benefit music education in Haiti.

The musicians will perform solo and chamber works by Haitian composers Julio Racine, Werner Jaegerhuber, Rudy Perrault, and Ludovic Lamothe, as well as arrangements of traditional Haitian folk songs.


Also on the program is a partial screening of the documentary “Kenbe La - Hold On.”  (Official Selection of 2011's Seattle True Independent Film Festival and the 2011's Weyauwega International Film Festival)
