Chamber Music

Joining a chamber music ensemble is one of the most rewarding experiences a musician can have.  Chamber music players enjoy collaboration with colleagues while playing an independent part and exploring new repertoire.

  • Supercharge your musical development
  • Experience the rich and varied chamber repertoire
  • Make friends to last a lifetime!

Students studying outside the Music Institute are welcome to participate in the chamber music program.

The Music Institute of Chicago offers a comprehensive chamber music program which both challenges and nurtures students of all ages. Chamber music ensembles receive weekly coachings and have the opportunity to perform regularly in both informal settings and at beautiful Nichols Concert Hall in downtown Evanston. Chamber students are also actively engaged in community outreach performances.

Fall chamber music groups begin Tuesday, September 18.

We look forward to having you participate in this enriching program!
