Wendy earned her SNL, and BA from DePaul University, Music Intensive, Speech Level Trained.

Significant teachers and mentors: 

Some of her significant teachers/mentors throughout the years are: Seth Rigg Speech Level Singing- Los Angeles, CA; Roger Love Speech Level Singing-Los Angeles, CA; Katie Agresta-New York, NY; Anne Perillo - Juilliard trained teacher, DePaul University.

Teaching philosophy and areas of expertise: 

One of Wendy's firmest beliefs is that singing and music is a gift and we should be grateful everyday that we have both. 

Awards and achievements: 

A few of Ms. Morgan's biggest accomplishments are being a pre-Certified Speech Level Teacher; releasing an Original CD "Say Wen"; receiving various awards and CDBABY and itunes 1996; Next -Jazz CD 2009

Professional affiliations & activities: 

In addition to her other accomplishments, Wendy also has several professional affiliations which include being on the AFTRA Singers Chair since 2006; as well as being a NATS member since 2008.

Interests outside of music: 

Ms. Morgan has at least three book ideas and two movies in her mind right now; one is a documentary. She is painting an oil/mosaic multi-media project on a half-door. She won a four-year scholarship to The Art Institute and was set to complete four years free until she decided on music instead. She also loves riding her bike and spending time with her family, especially her son.

Sing and breathe from your hips!

Favorite composer or piece to play: 

I love Sondheim and Cole Porter.

Favorite musical moment: 

Taste of Chicago performing with my band, and when I was onstage with Bo Diddley. The first time I heard one of my songs being played on the radio!
