Chicago Duo Piano Mini-Fest: MIC Faculty Piano Duos in Concert 2026

Enjoy a concert of piano music for duo piano featuring MIC's award-winning piano faculty. The annual Chicago Duo Piano Festival Winter Mini-Fest kicks off with a special concert.

FEATURING: Inah Chiu and Sung Hoon Mo; Marie Alatalo and Daniel Baer; Elaine Felder and Milana Pavchinskaya; Xiao Min Liang and Yumi Kim; Soo Lee and Jeongmin Lee; and Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem performing works by Mozart, William Hirtz, Ned Rorem, Glück, Khatchaturian, and Liszt.

About the Chicago Duo Piano Festival

Founded in 1988 by MIC resident piano duo Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem, the mission of the festival is to foster a deeper interest in the repertoire, performance, and teaching of music for piano, four hands, and two pianos, in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The Chicago Duo Piano Festival includes an annual summer festival, winter mini-fest, guest duo and faculty concerts, master classes, and student recitals. In addition, the Chicago Duo Piano Festival sponsors period national and international competitions for duo pianists.
