Lake Forest
Hi. Welcome to the Lake Forest Campus. As we gradually and carefully reintroduce some in-person teaching, most of our teaching is taking place online. As of November 20, 2020, all campus buildings are closed until further notice. All teaching is currently online until we can return. You can learn from the comfort and convenience of your own home!
Please contact Campus Director Clem Leek at cleek@musicinst.org
- you are a current student with any questions, or
- you are a new to MIC and are looking to start lessons with an amazing teacher
Nestled in the Grove Cultural Campus of Lake Forest, the Music Institute of Chicago's Lake Forest Campus is a lovely setting to enjoy music education, concerts, and community fun. We are just down the street from Deerfield High School, Northcroft Park, and the Heller Nature Center. Join us and study with gifted teachers, attend music theory classes, participate in chamber music, explore different instruments, grow as a student, and meet fellow musicians.
Campus students come from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Highland Park, Highwood, Lincolnshire, Vernon Hills, Buffalo Grove, Waukegan, Zion, Antioch, Gurnee, Bannockburn, Deerfield, Libertyville, Hoffman Estates, and other Lake County communities.
If you would like to make an appointment to meet with the campus director, please call 847.905.1500, ext. 191, or email Clem Leek.
