Rachel attended Northwestern University, which she graduated from with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music. Currently, she is the director of the violin program at St. Andrews Lutheran School as well as an instructor of violin and viola at Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Significant teachers and mentors: 

Rachel's principal teachers include Peter Slowik, Li-Kuo Chang, Roland Vamos, Karen Ritscher, and Donald McInnes.

Awards and achievements: 

Rachel performs as a member of the Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago, and has performed throughout Germany, Russia, Korea, Italy, China, Finland, and America. She was also a participant in the American Russian Young Artists Orchestra where she served as principal violist, the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for four seasons. Rachel frequently appears with ensembles throughout the Chicagoland area in locations such as Wisconsin and Indiana.

Professional affiliations & activities: 

Ms. Goff has been a member of the South Bend Symphony Orchestra since 2008 and, prior to joining, was a member of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and the AMIRUS chamber ensemble.
